Signature Online Limited (which operates the Times Historic Newspapers web site) will deliver the Products ordered by you to the address,
which you give for delivery when you make your order. You may specify a delivery
address, which is different from your invoice address, if, for example, you
would like Signature Online Limited to deliver the Products directly to a
friend, a relative, or to your place of work.
Signature Online Ltd uses a range of carriers to fulfill deliveries. This enables our service to continue unaffected, for example, during industrial action.
Order to delivery normally takes 7 working days, although
at peak times such as Christmas this may take a day or two longer. The standard delivery charge is £5.00 for UK deliveries regardless of size of order and £20.00 for EU and £25 for other International destinations. For UK orders (only) a 5 working day 'Special Delivery'
option is available for £10.00.
Please Note:
Newspaper books and urgent deliveries are generally sent via a ‘sign-for’ service.
If your delivery is via our courier service they are unable to deliver to PO boxes in the UK or at International locations
If you do not receive Products ordered by you within 28 days of the date on
which you ordered them, Signature Online Limited shall have no liability to
you unless you notify Signature Online Limited by email at info@times-historic-newspapers.co.uk,
of the problem within 40 days of the date on which you ordered the Products.
Unless you have cancelled your order prior to delivery, you will become the
owner of the Products once they have been delivered to you. In any case, after
delivery they will be held at your own risk and Signature Online Limited will
not be liable for any loss, damage or destruction to the Products except insofar
as it arises from an inherent defect in any of the Products.
